Face masks are still required in the NHS

Healthcare settings are required to adhere to infection prevention and control guidance, these are in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

We continuously review any guidance and then make appropriate changes to our practice. Although the Prime Minister is due to lower the threshold on the wearing of face masks this week there is no change to the infection prevention and control guidance.

Patients will still be required to wear face masks when attending the practice, these rules apply to all healthcare settings.

Please continue to work with us during these unprecedented times and help keep our patients, staff and visitors safe. Please also still adhere to social distancing when sitting in the waiting room.
